Subject: Dynapath 10 replacement advise
Hi,

I am preparing to replace a dynapath 10 head on my Bridgeport Mill.   I found a few threads here that suggests others have made this journey with KFLOP.

I was wondering if someone could help he figure out what Dynomotion components would work best e.g. KFLOP + Kanalog or KFLOP+ Kanalog + Konnect, etc...

A little guidance on where the sticking points will be would also be helpful.

Hi CL,

Have you researched or looked into the drives, motors, and wiring?  What kind are they?  Do you want to keep them?

The drives, Motors etc. all work great and I am planning on keeping them.  I have all the schematics and have analyzed the signals.

Does Konnect augment, replace or require Kanalog?

Hi CL,

Konnect adds additional 24V IO.  Konnect can be used with or without Kanalog. 

If you have +/- 10V analog amplifiers and differential encoders Kanalog will be required for those.
